Why the name "Fish With Trish"

The idea for this site: "Fish with Trish", came about due to our Lord's promise that He would transform His disciples into "fishers of men". Immediately upon Trisha's conversion to Christianity, God gave her a passion to preach the gospel to the lost. "Fish With Trish" is a web site dedicated to encouraging Christian's to boldly proclaim the good news of the gospel to non-believers. Trisha is married to Emilio Ramos (Teaching Pastor, Sovereign Joy Community Church) together they share their faith on a regular basis.

"Fish With Trish" is a website that serves to provide encouragement for you to share your faith. You'll find follow-ups from Wretched Radio phone "fishing" segments, plus Two Minute Evangelism Tips that will encourage you with practical tips to share your faith. You'll hear about resource give-a-ways, and on the "Fish With Trish Blog" you might bump into an atheist or two to witness to. "Fish With Trish" is updated several times each week with new information, and we hope that while you're here you'll be encouraged to take your faith to the streets.

From 2006-2008 Trisha was on The Way of the Master Radio program with Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort and Todd Friel during the weekly “Street Fishing” segments. Now, she typically can be heard from week to week on Wretched Radio with host Todd Friel as she seeks out individuals to share the gospel on "live" radio. Her segment(s) are often referred to as "fishing" for souls, because "fish" and "Trish" rhymed, Todd Friel, host of Wretched Radio, cleverly came up with the name "Fish with Trish".
